As proud local people The directors of Sable Property Limited Leanne and Jonathan Wilcox, decided to buy this beautiful and iconic property Hartley House, located in a prime location in close proximity to the rail way station with a view in enhancing the local neighbourhood.

The company is now looking to seek planning permission to turn the dilapidated and derelict building into high quality office space on the ground floor and luxury flats and studios on the next two floors. In conjunction with the Goole Property Activation Fund which is a town deal grant fund providing applicants with funding to stimulate economic activity through the reactivation of sites and buildings in specific areas of Goole town centre. 

The activation fund seeks to enhance and uplift the townscape and increase the attractiveness of Goole as a place to invest, live, work and undertake leisure activities in. 

This is something that Sable Property are extremely interested in and have previously carried out a new build development at The Old Sidings at the bottom of Fifth Avenue in Goole. The company will be planning to use local people and local contractors over the next few months in order to progress the extensive refurbishment at Hartley House, the former Yorkshire Electric Power company building.
